DAV Thane was awarded the Best Eco-Friendly and Safe School Award in the contest conducted by the Rotary Club of Thane, North in the year 2007.
The school was awarded Best School Award in the District by Maharashtra Junior Science Olympiad for providing excellent facilities and finest teaching practices to students.
The school won the Merit Certificate for Active Participation in PEC India Pilot Programme organized by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India & the British Council.
